That dialogue between the two was thoughtful and there was a mutual respect between the two warlords. Ephraim is trig's husband and we will get the view of a gray mercenary, Lyria is a red from the mines and we will get her view point from leaving the mines to the place for reds now and Lysander is out in the outer reaches of space with Cassius so who knows what he's up to.
